Example · evening line cook in Laval · 14 days, in total

Hiring is a harvest. BerryMap takes in every application, scores it out of a hundred and tells you why. Ranking takes one click: what’s left is choosing, then meeting.

Example, on day 14: a blueberry stand beside a wild blueberry field near Lac-Saint-Jean. The sign is the job: evening line cook. 53 applications stay in “New”, still scored; Julien, 68, has a provisional score. 5 are in screening, including Amina, 59, capped, chosen anyway by a person; the setting “A person always decides” is locked. 3 are in interview, and 1 hire: Maxime, 94, who said yes. 53 + 5 + 3 + 1 = 62. No application set aside by the machine. At the stand next door, kitchen helper, someone scored 66 here and 84 there said yes; their first application stays active.
  1. The score explains itself

Example: 62 applications scored out of a hundred, from 42 to 94. The 53 not moved to screening stay in “New”. Julien, 68, has a provisional score: his profile does not say yet where he lives or which languages he speaks.

  2. A person always decides

Nine people move to screening, each one moved by a person on the team. Among them is Amina, 59, capped: she is missing the food hygiene and safety certificate. The setting “A person always decides” is locked.

  3. A time that works

Four interviews. Maxime is offered three times and picks Thursday, 2 p.m. The invitation goes out in French.

  4. The yes comes from the person

An offer, sent by the team to Maxime, 94. Maxime says yes: he is hired.

  5. Another chance, with their yes

Someone still in “New” scores 66 for this job and 84 for a job next door. The team suggests it; they say yes. Their first application stays active.

  6. Everyone stays visible

On day 14: 53 in “New”, 5 in screening, 3 in interview and 1 hired, 62 in all.

BerryMap handles the rest.

Your time goes to the people you meet, not the paperwork around them.

  • Interviews schedule themselves.

    Included from Essential

The person picks their time in one tap, gets a reminder and can suggest another time, without a single phone call.

Most others: back-and-forth emails to find a time.

  • Bilingual from the first email to the offer.

Emails go out in the candidate’s language; the offer letter stays your own.

Most others: only the public page is translated.

  • Your whole network, one place.

    Included from Essential

Each manager sees their own location, you see the whole network, and a good candidate can move to another one, with their consent.

Most others: only on their top plan, or not at all.

  • Law 25, done by the product.

Consent, erasure and the register are kept for you, and no application is ruled out by the machine.

Most others: you write the policy yourself.

What people ask before they start.

What is BerryMap?

A hiring platform for employers: your career site, your applications and the distribution of your jobs, in French and English. It’s built for businesses with several locations, franchise networks and firms that recruit for clients. It isn’t a job search site: every job lives on its employer’s career site.

Can AI see my jobs?

Yes. Every job page on your career site is rendered complete on the server, with its structured data: the first answer already holds everything. So a crawler that doesn’t run JavaScript reads all of it, and your robots.txt lets it in.

Where do my jobs appear?

Google for Jobs reads your job pages, with nothing for you to do. For Eluta.ca and Talent.com, you give an address once to each one, and the Distribution screen guides you step by step. For Job Bank and Québec emploi, you post it yourself: the Distribution screen gives you the text, ready to paste. Indeed can also read your career site, with no guarantee that it shows your jobs.

How does the ranking work?

Every application gets a score out of 100, across five pillars: skill affinity, qualifications, the job as it is, dealbreakers and alignment. The score reads the application and, unless the person has opted out, their résumé, then compares them with the job. A missing must-have caps the score, however strong the rest is. If the profile isn’t finished, the score is marked provisional. You see the detail of every pillar. The résumé reading behind the score is included in every plan. If you connect your own AI key, the score runs on it, and BerryMap takes over if it fails.

Can the AI rule out a candidate on its own?

No. BerryMatch ranks, it doesn’t decide: no application is ruled out by the system, and that setting is locked. Applications nobody has moved stay in “New”, visible and ranked. A person on your team always decides, and a candidate can ask for a person to review their file. Section 12.1 of Law 25 and Article 22 of the GDPR cover decisions made exclusively by a machine.

I have several locations. Does it work?

Yes. Every job belongs to a location, and one job template opens in several locations. A manager can be limited to their locations: the database itself stops them from seeing the others. In a franchise network, the franchisor sees the whole network, from the Growth plan. The invoice goes to the business: the franchisor pays for its franchisees, or each franchisee pays for their own seat; a firm pays for its clients, from the Entreprise plan.

How do you protect my data?

Each business is isolated from the others in the database itself, not just in the application. Backups are encrypted. Your candidates’ access and deletion requests are carried out by the product, within the 30-day deadline. Closed applications without a hire are deleted or anonymised after the retention period you choose (24 months by default), and every run is logged. In the Privacy screen, you name your privacy officer and keep the incident register.

How much does it cost?

Free for one location and one seat. Unlimited active jobs on every plan. Unlimited locations from $25 a month, plus taxes. On the paid plans, each seat beyond the included ones costs $5 a month. You can move between paid plans whenever you like, from the Billing screen: the difference is charged or credited the same day. If a payment fails, you have 14 days; then the account goes back to the free plan, and nothing is deleted.
